Rationale of the Course

This course is designed to help participants present themselves effectively in both their daily work and in situations which require more formal presentations.

The demands of the workplace mean that more and more staff are required to present information at meetings, deliver in-house training, present to seminars, workshops and larger conferences, both at home and abroad.

Staff often need to engage with external and internal clients on many levels and in different contexts. As such, staff are representative of their company or department and the presentation by the individual is crucial to ensure that their contribution is a value added resource to the organisation as its ambassador.

The focus of this course is to develop the individual and to enable them to apply the learning specifically to their own work in the company. The course offers participants the opportunity to practice within a supported environment, providing an empowering and motivating experience.

For Whom

This course is open to anyone who wishes to consider how they present themselves to others. It is an opportunity for participants who, as part of their work, need to deliver presentations to their work teams, departments or designated audiences both internal and external, including seminars, workshops or larger conferences. The course will accommodate beginners, those who need to energise their current presentations or those more experienced who wish to become more creative and deliver challenging presentations.

Course Aims and Objectives
