Rationale of the Course

This course is designed to help participants present themselves effectively in both their daily work and in situations which require more formal presentations. At senior level staff often possess experience of presenting in a variety of formats and contexts.

The demands of the workplace mean that more and more senior staff are required to present information at meetings, deliver in-house training, present to seminars, workshops and larger conferences, both at home and abroad.

Senior staff often need to engage with external and internal clients on many levels and in different contexts. As such, they are a representative of their company or department and the presentation by them is crucial to ensure that their contribution is a value added resource to the organisation as its ambassador. There is often a need to demonstrate competitive edge or articulate policy to either influence or inform others.

This course provides the opportunity for senior staff to practice, further develop or revitalise their presentation skills and to receive individual critical feed-back from an experienced professional presenter.
