Presenting yourself for an interview

Course Title

Presenting Yourself for an Interview

Dates:

12, 13, 19 April

Time:

9.00 am. – 1.00 pm.

Profile of the Trainer:

Jozie Devoy is a dynamic trainer specialising in the delivery of individual and corporate development through workshops seminars and conferences, She has considerable experience of managing and motivating individuals and teams in the UK, both in the public and private sectors.

The approach to her workshops is highly interactive, demanding and enjoyable - promoting and developing self-belief in participants.

Jozie graduated and began her career in the performing arts and has developed her skills over the past twenty five years as a presenter, both in the UK and internationally. Jozie has worked in Malta for the past five years with a wide range of organisations across different disciplines.

Jozie brings to this course knowledge, understanding, techniques and a wealth of personal experience. For many years she has provided individual coaching to enable candidates to present themselves and demonstrate their full potential at interview.

Rationale of the Course

When preparing for interview staff often spend most of their time focusing on the job/task element that is to be addressed during the interview process. They often give little or no attention to the preparation of “how they will come across” at interview and no consideration toward the details that make up a holistic presentation of themselves.

In a highly competitive job market candidates for interview need to be as fully prepared as possible and made aware of what the “presentation of self” means in this context.

This course is designed to enable participants to prepare, rehearse and present themselves to the best of their ability at interview, whether this is, for example:

·         for the first time

·         returning to work after a gap

·         an internal promotion or move within the company

·         an external promotion

·         an interview abroad

Attention and focus will be given to the specific needs and individual context of participants.
