Profile of the Trainer:

 

Jozie Devoy is a dynamic trainer specialising in the delivery of individual and corporate development through workshops seminars and conferences, She has considerable experience of managing and motivating individuals and teams in the UK, both in the public and private sectors.

The approach to her workshops is highly interactive, demanding and enjoyable - promoting and developing self-belief in participants.

In Malta Jozie has worked with staff at many levels across a wide variety of companies and has run this course for FHRD for the past two years.

Jozie brings to this course knowledge, understanding, techniques and a wealth of personal experience to enable participants to fulfil their full potential.

Rationale of the Course

 

Executive and administrative staff often receive specific or technical training directly related to their sphere of work. This course provides an opportunity for personal development of the individual and the change to connect their potential with their current job and aspirations. It is designed to motivate and encourage self confidence in staff who serve and support others. Participants will have the opportunity to undertake self evaluation and make decisions about how they present themselves to others.

The course is designed for executive and administrative staff in an organisation who will benefit from developing their personal skills, individual potential and self-confidence.

Course Aims and Objectives

This course is designed to enable participants to:

·         Identify strengths and areas for improvement in their job

·         Review responsibilities and contributions to a team

·         Develop and practice inter-personal skills

·         Gain theoretical understandings which underpin work practices

·         Enhance self-esteem and self-belief

Course Content

 

The workshops are built around a framework “The Wheel of Success” and explore twelve key elements to enable the participant to achieve their full potential in their job and role within an organisation.

The elements are broken down into three modules over three workshops.

Module 1: Exploration of Job, Task and Role

·         Clear aims – for your job and role

·         Creativity – harnessing your creative talent

·         Planning and managing your time

·         Team work – your contribution

Module 2: Working with others

·         Taking action – what to do when things go wrong

·         Embracing change – coping strategies

·         Communication – developing your skills

·         Reviewing steps to self evaluation

Module 3: Presenting yourself

·         Motivation – you at work

·         Monitoring -  recording your progress

·         Confidence – believing in yourself

·         Presenting – giving your ideas to others
