Dealing with Difficult Employees
Monday, September 15, 2014
“People problems” are often cited as the most time-consuming and challenging part of a manager’s job. Difficult behaviours and emotions pose challenges for managers on a daily basis, who cannot afford to avoid dealing with such difficulties because these frustrating behaviours will take a toll on the manager’s ability to manage others and produce their standard level of outcomes.
This course will address difficult behaviours which include bullying, sexual harassment, and other forms of interpersonal workplace deviance. Mental health issues are also addressed, inlcuding personality disorders. The aim of the course is to provide participants with the practical tools to maximise productive relationships at work and for preventing and managing difficult behaviour.
