'Employer's liability - doing what is reasonable'
Foundation for Human Resources Development
As an employer, are you sure you are taking 'reasonable' measures and precautions to ensure a safe, healthy work environment?
This half-day conference, organised by the FHRD in partnership with the Institute of Health and Safety, will tackle real life cases of what has been deemed reasonable or otherwise in the Maltese courts. It will also outline how employers can demonstrate the way they are being reasonable and complying with legal and operational standards.
Keynote speakers for this conference are:
Mr Joseph Farrugia, director general of the Malta Employers Association, Dr Joseph McKeon, a specialist in the law of damages, Mr Chris Hudson director at the Institute of Health and Safety and Dr Shaheryar Ghaznavi, a partner of a new law firm.
The conference is being held on October 9 at the Carlson Suite, Radisson SAS Bay Point Resort, St Julian's from 1.30 to 5 p.m.
