FHRD annual conference/exhibition
Foundation for Human Resources Development
'Make a difference that makes the difference' is the theme of the FHRD's annual conference and exhibition, scheduled for Wednesday, November 7, at the Hilton, Portomaso.
Three experts in people and business management have been invited to tackle the theme from various angles. Dr Hans Bohm, managing director of Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Personalfuhrung e.V., Dusseldorf, will talk about 'Professional People Management - Value Creation for Business Success'. Ray Taylor, BA (Hons), MA Management Learning, director of Reach Beyond, UK, will discuss who is responsible for the changing landscape.
From the local scene, Patrick Psaila, BA (Hons), M.Ed. (Cons. Psych.) Vancouver, a registered psychologist, training and HR consultant, will talk about creating resonance at the workplace by leading from within.
