British High Commissioner Sir Vincent Fean presented a set of books to be used in the library of the Foundation for Human Resources Development.
The foundation, based at San Gwann, aims to promote human resource and development practices, and to raise the level of the HR profession at the workplace in the Maltese islands. The 27 books presented span the management and human resources spectrum.
Sir Vincent said he was confident that the foundation's human resource community, including the students undertaking various academic courses offered by CLMS, University of Leicester, of which the FHRD is the agent, will find the new additions to the library useful for their learning and self-development.
"I look forward to seeing even more co-operation between the Foundation and its UK counterparts," he added. |
