The Employers' voice
Employers and HR managers can voice their opinions and concerns on any work-related topic in HR fora organised by FHRD. The first official HR forum was held this month, where a group of HR managers discussed the Green Paper on Employment Law.
Dr Charlotte Camilleri from Malta Employers' Association (MEA) facilitated one of the two meetings, which were chaired by FHRD CEO Maria Pia Chircop.
These meetings were also attended by ETC officials, who shared their views on the subject.
The next meeting will be held next month when delegates will share their concerns and issues on recruitment. The aim of these fora is to strengthen the links between employers and social partners (see article in The Sunday Times, January 28, 2007).
