We knew you too little but with your first handshake and your first words we felt we knew you for a long time.
You have travelled far and wide but destiny sent you last to our country.
A big crowd was there that day listening to your wisdom while leading us from the incredible to the obvious. We would have spent hours listening to you but you taught us a lot in just a few minutes.
You didn't make it for your OBE award, but we pray you will soon receive a more prestigious award where you are now.
May you rest in peace, dear friend, and thank you for giving us the opportunity to get to know you. It was worth every second, even though your stay with us was so short. |
